The Grammys

No suprises at the Grammys, besides Lady Antebellum, Arcade Fire, and Eminem not winning an all-around award. Props to Esperanza Spalding for Best New Artist- she deserves it, although I would've liked to see Drizzy take it.

Prediction for 2011: Dr. Dre, Drake, Kanye & Jay-Z all dominate the scene.

1st Review: Tech N9Ne- Bad Season

A mixtape issued as a re-release for retail album, Tech N9ne's Bad Season is a solid fresh effort from one of rap's most clever sooth-sayers. It is a collab with DJ Whoo Kid and prominently features Krizz Kaliko on half of the 16 tracks, and the combos work to Tech's benefit.

Tech goes back to his rythmic fast paced rhyming roots with very good verses in songs like "Bad Season," and "Livin Like I'm Dyin." If you want to hear Tech's famous fast rapping, listen to tracks like "Speed of Sound" and "Blammers and Burners."

While there's not much variety in the album, or any top 10 songs for that matter, Bad Season offers fans of Tech and of rap a solid set list that is purely the style of Tech N9ne. That is why we give the album an 7.5/10.
